The European Academy of Neurology Congress 2022 was the crucial first appearance for Lundbeck‘s new migraine prevention product VYEPTI® in front of the desired target group of neurologists and related HCPs.

To achieve a standout prescence at the event our team took the existing product advertising campaign‘s visual and textual language (the BREAK-FREE moment) and made the effectiveness of the product tangible with an innovative stand concept that used multimedia technologies to allow the audience to directly engage with the patients who featured in the campaign.

Interactive standees in use
Using 3 large-scale self-supporting video panels we presented a series of ‘Micro-Stories‘ that communicated individual narratives related to each of the protagonists.
Visitors could engage literally with the life-size Patient by means of 3D sensor technology that allowed the users gestures to control how the videos released the core benefits of VYEPTI® before going on to trigger each of the patients BREAK-FREE moments.

Breaking glass, BREAKING BOUNDARIES
To create a truly engaging experience, individual films of character models standing for patients were produced.
They were edited down into a series of randomly accessible clips that could be triggered by the AV system to give the impression that the characters were communicating with visitors.
As visitors walked past the standees the characters appeared to knock on the glass from within the frame in an effort to grab the vistors attention.
Once engaged the system‘s motion capture cameras allowed the visitor to select different shapes abstracted from the VYEPTI® logo that were related to key product benefits.
When all shapes were selected the shapes flew together to create the full logo, at which point the glass of the standee appeared to break, setting the characters free from the prison of their migraine symptoms.
